Weekly Announcements April 16 – April 22

The following announcements for this week:

  • Time to Equip our Youth! Financial Fundamentals is critical in this day and age and we want to start teaching our youth about investing in themselves and how to become financially secure. During our Youth Services we will have a 2 part serious on Financial Security on April 15 and 29 facilitated by Leah Simmons.
  • Healing Class will begin Monday April 16 @ 6pm! Don’t Miss this opportunity to be Healed and to Heal others!
  • Dayton Native Stars in Independent Film Highlighting Heroes and Heroines of the Underground Railroad
    On Thursday, April 19, 2018, Dayton native, Bryant Louis Bentley, will walk the red carpet as lead actor in the independent film, All or Nothin’. The event—which includes photo opps, movie screening and Q & A with the director and cast—will be held at the Dayton Art Institute Auditorium 456 Belmonte Park North, Dayton, OH 45405 at 5:00 PM. At-the- door $20 cash donations will benefit two local nonprofit entities: Revival Center Ministries Youth Ministry and New Beginnings for You.
  • College Tips Course “Dear Parents & Upcoming HS Graduates…don’t you wish there was a college starter guide? Well let Leah tell you about what they don’t tell you when preparing for College” Sign up now for Cutting College Cost on Saturday April 21st, 2018 @ 11am in the Super Church This is a course on how to receive the full college experience without totally breaking the bank. This course will teach you how you can possibly save about $10k+ a year. Being in the know about college aid, free books, scheduling, room & board and more… Targeting Parents of high schools grads & 1st yr college students, Jr & Sr High School Students

  • Baby Dedication is April 22 and forms on in the Fellowship Hall. Please complete and leave on the table!
  • This is our Mission Sunday- We are going to Mexico. Next Missions meeting will be Tuesday, April 24 @ 6pm.
  • Please put on your calendar that we will be providing Adult Mental Health First Aid Training on Saturday April 28. We will begin sign-ups the first week in April. The cost will be $25.00 which pays for your book and lunch. More information will be made available in the future.
  • Covenant Keepers Marriage
    Date Change from April, 20th to Friday, May 4th…The Covenant Keepers Marriage Ministry will sponsor Friday Night Live! (2 Hearts that beat as one) on FRIDAY, MAY 4th. A Marriage night of sharing, exhortation, ministering and fellowship here in the RCMI Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. Stay tuned because Every 1st Friday night The Covenant Keepers Marriage Ministry will fellowship and each month there will be something new and exciting. Most of these activities and events will take place in other locations. On the weekend of August 3rd The Covenant Keepers Marriage Ministry will travel to Gatlinburg for a couples “Look to the Hills” retreat. If you are interested in finding out more about this retreat for you and your spouse, please fill out a card in the fellowship hall by the last Sunday in this month, April 29th, and put the card in the box. The committee will contact you and provide more details at an upcoming informational meeting.
  • Announcement:  save the date, May 5, the women’s ministry would like to invite all the women out @ 9am @ the church to celebrate Mother’s Day.  We will have food, vendors and hat modeling!  Tickets are available and can be purchased for $10.00 in the fellowship Hall.
  • EDUCATORS DAYMay 6 both Services Please sign up if you are an Educator so we can Celebrate and Recognize you!
  • We are in partnership with Westwood schools and they are in need of women to volunteer for their Muffins for Moms event. They want to make sure they those who do not have mothers can still participate so that would like some woman to volunteer to sit and eat breakfast with a child. Friday May 11, from 10am-12pm. And also they are in need of snacks for their testing that will take place April 17. If you can purchase chips, water, etc..we will insure the school gets those things. Thanks Go to the Evangelistic.
